Activout Banking privacy notice

Last updated: 2 October 2026

What this is

This page covers one Enable Banking application, registered by Activout AB (organisation number 559071-2229, Soft Center hus 5, Fridhemsvägen 8, 372 38 Ronneby, Sweden). David Eriksson uses it as a personal, read-only tool to archive transactions from his own bank accounts and Activout AB's. It is not offered to anyone else. Other people who use the open-source Activout.Banking software register their own application under their own terms. Data is read through Enable Banking Oy's account information service, only where the account holder has authorised it.

Data processed

Account identifiers, account names, balances and transactions (dates, amounts, counterparties and payment descriptions) for accounts the account holder has explicitly authorised with their bank.

Where it is stored

Data is stored only on the account holder's own computer, in a local database with access restricted to that user. Activout Banking has no server-side storage. This website only forwards the bank's redirect to the account holder's computer. The web server may briefly log the request address, which contains a single-use authorisation code but no account data.

Purpose and legal basis

Bookkeeping and personal financial records for the account holder. The basis is the account holder's own consent and Activout AB's legitimate interest in keeping its own records.

Sharing

Data is not sold or shared. Enable Banking Oy and the account holder's bank process data as described in their own privacy notices.

Retention and your rights

Data is kept for as long as needed for bookkeeping, including statutory retention periods. Consent can be revoked at any time with the bank or by contacting us. For questions about this processing, contact david@activout.se.
